Not long after Shannen Doherty shared the tragic news of the return of her breast cancer, she returned to Instagram with a heartening post.

"We only live once, Snoopy," Charlie observed. "Wrong!" the dog declared. "We only die once. We live every day."
The post attracted a boatload of encouraging comments from fans of the 47-year-old who were touched by the beautiful quote. A fan wrote,
"Stay strong; keep the faith. This is another battle for you, my dearest warrior. God bless you."
The quote is coming in hours after Doherty revealed in an interview with Good Morning America that her breast cancer was back and that it had advanced to stage IV.
Details came out later when a lawsuit with an exciting opening line came to light. "Plaintiff Shannen Doherty is dying of stage 4 terminal cancer," it read.
During the interview, the 48-year-old actress spoke about how hard it was to accept that her cancer was no longer in remission but had returned.
Afterwards, the "Charmed" star commented on how terrible she'd felt about sharing the bad news with her husband and family.
Doherty also confessed that the reason why the announcement came up was that she knew specific legal paperwork regarding her illness would be made public soon.
Speaking further concerning the topic, the actress confirmed her desire to have the news come directly from her, expressing her need to "control the narrative."

Doherty allegedly filed the lawsuit against State Farm Insurance. An insurance firm she believes still owes her money.
According to her attorney, the singer was forced to pay "out-of-pocket" funds for mandated repairs to her home in California after the deadly Woolsey fire.
Doherty's attorney also claims that she remains "displaced" and unable to live in peace due to her ongoing legal battle with State Farm.
Doherty reportedly received news that her breast cancer was back in 2019 and has kept it under wraps since then.
She had first been diagnosed with the fatal disease in 2015, but it went into remission in 2017 after she received treatment.
