Singer and actress, Fantasia is dealing with a crisis most moms could relate with. The mother of two took to Instagram to express how upset she was when her son came down with the flu.

R&B singer, Fantasia's 9-year-old son, Dallas, has been down with flu for a while now and the mother of two didn't hesistate to share on social media.

The 35-year-old shared a picture of the 9-year-old, seated on a clinic couch with a gloomy face, adding an angry face emoji to the photo.

Nursing a sick son has left the actress feeling down and upset over the young boy's predicament, as reflected in her post.

The post featured the tot, looking pale as he maintained a sitting position, wearing a black Adidas pullover, and red pants.  With an agry face emoji, the picture had the words:

"The Flu."

Coupled with attending to her young son, the "Free Yourself" singer has other responsibilities, especially with her recently-acquired grandmother status.

The songstress and her husband of four years, Kendall Taylor, welcomed a grandson, Kyan, in December, making them second-time grandparents. The new baby was born to Fantasia's stepson, Treyshaun, and his partner, Kayla.

Dallas was born ten years after his big sister, in North Carolina.

The family expansion, with the newborn joining his big brother, Khoen, as well as having an adolescent son to tend to has affected the couple's schedule and social life.

But that's one sacrifice they are willing to make to keep their family and careers afloat. The 35-year-old grandmother explained:

"I'm a mother, he's a father, and we're now grandparents as well, so we run into a lot of situations where we find people who want to hang out.

It can be recalled that the music artist became a second-time mother in 2011, after welcoming her son, Dallas Xavier in December that year.

The "American Idol" alum shared the news of her son's arrival on social media, a welcome addition to her then brood of one, Zion.

Dallas was born ten years after his big sister, in North Carolina, and the R&B star was all too grateful that he was born healthy.

With the flu threatening his health nine years later, the icon is sure to assume the mommy role full time, to help her son on his way to recovery.
