Kelly Ripa Warned Mark Consuelos & Ryan Seacrest to Keep Their Distance at 2020 Oscars Because of Her Full Body Makeup

Kelly Ripa had to keep a sharp Oscar eye on her "two husbands" at the Academy Awards on Sunday. Because the actress knows that some things are better when they don't rub off on others, she had to be careful.

Ryan Seacrest co-hosted the "E! Live from the Red Carpet" show, and of course, Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos ran into him while making their way down the red carpet.

With both her husband and her work husband by her side, the 49-year-old actress warned the two to keep a safe distance from her.

Kelly looked beautiful in the black, ruffled Christian Siriano gown with its asymmetrical neckline, but the problem wasn't her dress, as she said:

“I’m wearing full-body makeup and I don’t want to get it on you and you, my two husbands."

Mark cleaned up nicely in his dark blue tuxedo with black accents, but it wasn't long until Kelly noticed something unusual about Ryan's shoes.

The co-host wore shoe cumberbunds, and Kelly joked that they are telltale signs of very rich people, as she added:

“That’s how you know you’re rich; when you have cumberbunds on your shoes.”

Last week, Ryan Seacrest and Kelly, who host "Live! with Kelly and Ryan" together, put a hilarious spoof together as they prepared for their post-Oscars show.

In a spoof that combined all the major film nominations this year, Robert De Niro told the pair they couldn't pull off their show. Ryan got stuck in a bathroom with the "Joker," while Kelly landed up in an elevator with the lead cast in "Bombshell."

However, nothing is complete without a spin in Matt Damon’s car in "Ford v Ferrari," although Kelly's stomach didn't quite agree.

Thankfully Ryan always has Kelly's back, and she can count on his support. In October last year, when Kelly was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame, Ryan sent her a sweet message of support.

Alongside a picture of them together, Ryan gushed about Kelly's ability to be a mom and best friend "to everyone." After congratulating the actress, Ryan thanked Kelly for making "millions of people smile every day."

Meanwhile, Kelly Ripa and her actual husband, Mark Consuelos share a happy marriage of twenty-three years. The pair met back in 1995 when they got cast as an onscreen married couple in the soap "All My Children," and as they say, the rest is history.

Having built successful acting careers, the couple also became proud parents to their three children, Michael, Lola, and their youngest, Joaquin.
