Kim Kardashian of KUWTK Thought She Suffered Miscarriage after Heavily Bleeding While Pregnant with North

In an interview, Kim Kardashian discussed the moment she thought she had a miscarriage early on in her pregnancy with daughter North West.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star, 39, recently appeared on the podcast "All's Fair" with family attorney Laura Wasser.

During the chat, Kim recalled going to the doctor in November 2012 while she was pregnant with her eldest daughter North, now-6½-year-old.

HEARTBEAT WAS DETECTED

"I thought I had a miscarriage, because I was really heavily bleeding and in so much pain in Miami," she explained. "I went in because you have to go in and do a [dilation and curettage] to clean out the miscarriage."

The mother-of-four went on to say that her doctor was unable to find a heartbeat and told her she had a miscarriage.

But when Kim returned to the doctor the next day, North's heartbeat was detected. The famous reality star said that it was a sign and that it's Thanksgiving morning.

HORRIBLE PREGNANCY

They ended up having North. However, she had a terrible pregnancy. According to Kim, she went on to suffer from pre-eclampsia and placenta accreta.

Kim added that conceiving her now-4-year-old son Saint was difficult. She revealed she had tried to get pregnant for over a year before resorting to using an embryo she had previously stored.

Kim regularly works on her law studies for a total of 20 hours every week.

VERY COMPASSIONATE

She went on to suffer from pre-eclampsia and placenta accreta again after she finally became pregnant. The star also talked about using a surrogate to have her two youngest children — daughter Chicago, 2, and son Psalm, 8 months.

Meanwhile, Kim revealed that her daughter North inquired as to whether she could visit jails with her, as reported by Daily Mail.

The doting mother, who first gained media attention as a friend and stylist of Paris Hilton, told Us Weekly that her eldest daughter "is really compassionate."

Kim regularly works on her law studies for a total of 20 hours every week. The star, who has just finished her first year of studying the law, revealed she'd discovered her actual purpose in life.
