Gisele Bündchen Reportedly Doesn't like Being Called a Stepmom and Reveals Her Preferred Term
Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are raising their blended family well, and the supermodel feels blessed to be a stepmom to her husband’s son -- although she prefers a different term.
Motherhood is something Gisele Bündchen welcomed with open arms, even if it meant automatically having a little boy from her husband’s previous relationship.
The supermodel, however, would instead drop the word stepmom to 12-year-old John “Jack” Edward Thomas.

BUNDCHEN’S PREFERRED TERM
In a series of Instagram stories that supposedly answers fan questions, Bundchen revealed that she would rather be called a “bonus mom” than a stepmom.
The model felt like having Jack in her life was a “blessing” and made her feel “lucky,” despite him not being biologically her own.

Although they faced several challenges as they are going different directions to achieve greater heights, the couple makes sure to work together.
Jack is Tom Brady’s son with Bridget Moynahan and has two siblings, Benjamin Rein and Vivian Lake after the couple wed in 2009.
Bundchen further shared advice on how to be a good parent, stating that being there for your children in times of triumph and failure is really important.
She also compared quantity and quality when it came to time with kids, claiming that quality was something valued more.
BRADY AND BUNDCHEN CELEBRATE ELEVEN YEARS
The power couple recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. The mom-of-three took to Instagram to pay tribute to her husband and commemorate their special day. She wrote:
“I can’t believe it’s been 11 years since we devoured this delicious cake after we came home from our wedding. Happy anniversary love of my lifey!!!”
Brady also posted a sweet message for his wife on their anniversary, alongside pictures -- one of when they met, and another of their recent life together.
SECRET TO A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE
The couple had an incredible eleven years, with a marriage that only grows stronger through time. The model shared the secret to their successful marriage. He said:
“We use a term in our house: CCC. Clear, current communication. I think that’s helped us a lot.”
