Charmaine Walker and her husband Nick Bey recently welcomed their first child on Saturday with a sweet post on Instagram, showing their newborn.

Charmaine Walker and Nick Bey became proud parents to their daughter, Nola Glenda Bey, over the weekend after the star announced her pregnancy last December.

The proud mom shared a series of photos on Instagram, sharing her experience, and showing her newborn to the world.

Walker gave birth at Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women’s Hospital to her daughter, who came out weighing 6 lbs and 14 oz.

The actress shared about her labor and commended her husband for standing by her through it all, alongside photos of her daughter. She said:

“Labor was LIT! I would do it over n over again. Big thank you to my husband @neekbey for being my soldier through it all. So worth it!”

The infant’s birth came at a time of the coronavirus pandemic, which affected Hollywood couple Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.

She also shared about the thought of her mom “holding” her infant while in labor and called it “the most beautiful experience ever.”

The first-time mom initially felt nervous about giving birth as she approached the delivery days, yet also felt excited to meet her daughter.

Walker previously posted a photo sitting on the couch with her exposed baby bump with a caption that read:

“Moms, I have questions! How long were you in labor and did it hurt?”

Several fans and followers of the actress shared helpful advice and personal experiences to ease the anxious thoughts of giving birth.

The infant’s birth came at a time of the coronavirus pandemic, which affected Hollywood couple Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.

Hanks gave an update about their situation through Instagram, explaining that he and his wife were in isolation in Australia.

The couple visited the country for the pre-production of Elvis Presley’s biopic by Warner Bros. Hanks shared the initial symptoms that they felt, such as “chills” and “slight fever.” He added:

“What to do next? The Medical officials have protocols that must be followed. The Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires.”

Coronavirus has infected hundreds of thousands of people in several countries, causing global panic and lockdown in some countries.
