BernNadette Stanis from 'Good Times' & Her 2 Daughters Stun in Matching Minidresses in Birthday Video

BernNadette Stanis paid tribute to her daughter Dior in an Instagram post that featured the actress singing “Happy Birthday.”

BernNadette Stanis’ two gorgeous girls inherited their mom’s good looks, as seen in a recent Instagram post. The actress shared a video singing for her eldest daughter, Dior, “Happy Birthday.”

A SWEET TRIBUTE

The post included a clip of the actress and her two daughters in matching silver dresses, as Stanis and her youngest, Brittany Rose, sang to Dior. The caption read:

“Happy Birthday to my daughter Dior Ravel. We love you and we’re so proud of you.”

For five years, Stanis wrote a book that shared her experience taking care of Eula.

Fans and followers of Stanis also greeted the celebrant through the comments section and complimented the trio for their beauty.

The actress’ daughters look very much like her and have grown up to be kind and beautiful ladies. Brittany Rose studied medicine at Hampton University, while her sister Dior focused on modeling.

REMEMBERING “GOOD TIMES”

Stanis became famous for her role as the feisty Thelma Evans in the famous ‘70s sitcom “Good Times,” which aired from 1974 until 1979. She later appeared in “Black Jesus” and “36 Hour Layover.”

Although the series premiered decades ago, “Good Times” still resonates with many people. When asked about the show, Stanis said:

“I think the show was written so realistically in terms of people’s emotions and feelings. It resonates with so many people across the board, understanding about love and family.”

She added that the show carried messages about life’s struggles and finding yourself amid a chaotic world. Stanis was able to land the role with the help of her late mother, Eula.

AN ADVOCATE OF ALZHEIMER’S

In recent years, the actress has been a busy advocate of Alzheimer’s disease with her foundation, Remembering the Good Times Foundation.

She was inspired by her mother’s journey, which she witnessed as both a daughter and caregiver. Eula died in 2011 after suffering from health complications.

The actress claimed that the disease affects families because “you miss the way things were, but if you accept the way things change, you can still have a great time together as we did.

For five years, Stanis wrote a book that shared her experience taking care of Eula. In 2016, she finally released “The Last night: A Caregiver’s Journey.”
