Matthew McConaughey of 'Dallas Buyers Club' Fame Shares Message of Hope Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Actor Matthew McConaughey recently shared an inspirational message on his Instagram account, where he encouraged everyone to unite amid the battle against COVID-19.

Matthew McConaughey has joined the list of celebrities who have since spoken out about the highly contagious disease, Coronavirus.

Matthew took to his Instagram page to share a one minute and half clip encouraging his fans to take care of themselves and their loved ones. The actor said,

"Hey everybody, McConaughey here, just want to say that in these crazy times that we're in with the coronavirus, let's take care of ourselves and each other."

Matthew, 50 continued by imploring people to be careful and try not to get paranoid. He also appealed to his fans to take due precautions and care for one another.

He urged everyone to come together to fight against the virus because we have more chances of winning the fight together than alone. He also implied that the Coronavirus is our enemy at this time and not each other.

He continued by talking about how this pandemic is going to affect the economy over the long run, but he insists that things will get better with time. He concluded the inspirational video by telling people to make lemonade out of this lemon being served. The amazing video was captioned,

"because every red light eventually turns green."

Fans of the actor were glad to hear from him, and many took to the comments section to pour out their love. One fan told the actor that,

"Thank you for your positivity, you put a smile on my face today.?"

Matthew McConaughey isn't the only celebrity speaking out during these trying times. One notable star is the former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Schwarzenegger, in a short clip, shared on Twitter, which shows him feeding his horse and donkey pleaded with people to practice social distancing and stay safe in their house.

Although celebrities have been coming out to talk about keeping safe during this period, actor Tom Hanks, on the other hand, took to his social media pages to reveal that he and his wife, Rita Wilson, tested positive for Coronavirus.

Amid this reveal, fans and loved ones have sent their love his way and hope he and his family comes out of it on top.
