Magic Johnson's Wife Cookie Shares Tribute to Her Friend & Former 'View' Co-Host Star Jones on 58th Birthday

Cookie Johnson joined her friend, Star Jones, in celebrating, as the former ABC host turned 58 yesterday. Johnson had pleasing words for her friend on social media.

Cookie Johnson is grateful for her close pal, Star Jones, who became a year older a while back. Johnson took to her Instagram page, where she posted a jolly snapshot while writing sweetly to the celebrant.

In the photo Cookie shared, she stood beaming beside her star hubby, Magic Johnson, and Star Jones. The TV personality's hubby, Ricardo Lugo, also appeared in the photo. The celebrity wrote in her caption:

Back in 2018, Jones was in the news after she walked down the aisle with Ricardo Lugo, a Chicago attorney. Her wedding, which had a tropical theme held at the Bahamas and had showbiz dignitaries in attendance.

Cookie pulled all the stops to throw a lavish ceremony for her spouse.

Star's dress was one of the highlights of the event as she opted for a Basso designed wedding dress. The traditional white garb bore a halter style while its floor-length bodice was Mermaid-style. The excited socialite took to her Instagram page at the time to show off the big ceremony.

Last year was an extra special one for NBA legend, Magic Johnson, who turned 60. This particular celebration would probably forever be etched in the star's memory.

As it is, Cookie pulled all the stops to throw a lavish ceremony for her spouse. After getting a luxury yacht decorated with birthday confetti, the star mom made sure to invite their celebrity friends, including LL Cool J and his wife.

Cookie started by posting an emotional post for her hubby, which included a throwback image and sweet words of admiration.

While Magic dressed up in a casual T-shirt and shorts outfit, his wife matched his style with a simple yellow dress.
