Catelyn Lowell from 'Teen Mom OG' Reveals That Her Great-Grandmother Has Died at the Age of 88

Catelynn Lowell recently took to social media to reveal some sad news to her fans on March 24.

Catelynn Lowell broke the hearts of many of her followers after she announced the passing of her great-grandmother, whom she fondly referred to as her Nanna.

According to Pop Culture, the "Teen Mom OG" star shared the sad news through a tribute she paid the late 88-year-old on Instagram. In a post that included a series of images of her Nanna at different points in her life, Catelynn explained that:

"My Nanna passed away just a few days ago.. I know she is FREE now and that makes me smile ❤️ wish our last visit could of been different..."

The reality television personality, author, and public speaker also added that her Nanna, whom she shared the same birthday with, just turned 88. As it turned out, this wouldn't be the first time that the public would be getting wind of events happening in Catelynn's life.

Earlier this month, The Things revealed that the 28-year-old and her beau, Tyler Baltierra, met while they were both in middle school.

The duo, who have been together since they were 13, have remained by each other's side, thus making their bond appear unbreakable. Although it took them a decade to, Catelynn and Tyler walked down the aisle in 2015.

Together, the pair share three daughters, Carly, Vaeda Luma, and Novalee Reign, although they had to give up their first child, Carly, for adoption.

Even though Carly now lives with her adoptive parents, the Baltierra family has permission to celebrate the little girl's birthday every year.

This has offered Tyler and Catelynn an opportunity not only to see their daughter but also to make some unique and longlasting memories together.

The couple's need to share details of their lives led them to work together and write a book that offered a comprehensive account of their lives together. The book, according to The Things, gave fans a better sense of who Tyler and Catelyn are.
