Jodie Turner-Smith's Husband Talks about Stress of Pregnant 'Queen & Slim' Actress Giving Birth Amid Pandemic

Joshua Jackson opened up about his concerns as regards him and his wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, welcoming their first child together during a worldwide pandemic.

While it is exciting that Joshua Jackson and his wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, are expecting their first child together, the former has shared his concerns about the event occurring as the world battles a pandemic.

The actor made his concerns known during his appearance on the March 25 episode of "Good Morning America," Madame Noire reported.

It would be recalled that Joshua and Jodie began "unofficially dating in October 2018 after they met at Usher's 40th birthday party.

Joshua, who appeared on the show to promote the Hulu drama series "Little Fires Everywhere," said that his wife could put to bed at any point. The 41-year-old award-winner also stated that:

"It's a bit stressful right now and we're just trying to figure out how to be smart about being quarantined, and how to interact with medical system right now, is a little bit difficult."

It should be known that due to the coronavirus outbreak, many hospitals took some precautionary measures that reduced visitors to sick patients.

At the same time, some hospitals have prevented partners from being present for their children's birth. Joshua's interview with GMA came soon after he and Jodie were seen walking around Los Angeles as reported by Daily Mail.

According to the site, the "Queen & Slim" actress and her husband looked comfortable in their casual outfit while holding hands and walking with their dog.

With just a few days left to their baby's birth, Essence revealed that the celebrity couple are expecting a little girl. Jodie, herself, took to social media to announce the baby's sex with a clip she posted to her Instagram Story.

In the clip, the 33-year-old actress explained that her baby girl was "dancing" in her belly. Although the Story has since expired, Essence noted that she had captioned it, "Favourite moments with baby."

It would be recalled that Joshua and Jodie began "unofficially dating in October 2018 after they met at Usher's 40th birthday party.

Although neither party spoke publicly on the nature of their relationship, speculations began to go round when Joshua appeared on the red carpet with Jodie during the AFI FEST that held in November 2019.

Elle noted that it would be the first time Joshua would walk the red carpet with a "significant other" since he and Diane Kruger broke up.
