Drake Shares Photos of 2-Year-Old Son Adonis on Instagram for the First Time

Rapper Drake broke the internet yesterday when he shared photos of his son, Adonis, for the first time. The two-year-old was born in 2017 from his relationship with former porn star Sophie Brussaux.

Amid the panic and darkness in the world at the moment, rapper Drake has brought a ray of light in the most unexpected way.

Yesterday, the rapper, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, stunned fans when he unveiled his son for the first time, in a series of never-before-seen photos on Instagram.

Although Drake gave a subtle shout out to Sophie by posting her photo, it is still not certain what their relationship entails.

The slideshow contained several photos of showing the now-two-year-old posing with only his father, with both his parents in another frame and then all by himself in other slides.

The accompanying caption, which was an emotional message about missing his family due to the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown, saw the Canadian native encourage his followers to “connect to your own inner light.”

He assured his fans that although the pandemic “will create the biggest opening of all,” they have the power to make things happen and shift their perspective from fear.

Drake also urged them “to break free of the wheel of suffering and panic and open up to your own light,” before advising them to ease their emotional burdens by either laughing or crying.

He ended the lengthy post with a special shoutout to his friends and family, letting them know that he misses them and that he “can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite.”

The comment section was filled with lovely remarks from both fans and colleagues who couldn’t help but shower praises on his cute son.

MadameNoire revealed that Drake welcomed Adonis in 2017 from his relationship with former adult filmmaker, Sophie Brussaux. However, he kept Adonis’ birth a secret until fellow rapper Pusha T revealed that he had a child during their beef.

Months after Pusha T’s revelation, Drake confirmed that he indeed had a child in the lyrics of his hit song “Emotionless” where he explained that he was hiding the world from his son and not the other way.

The publication also notes that Drake hesitated before sharing the news of his son because he wasn’t sure he was the father. He confessed to doing a paternity test twice before accepting that Adonis was truly his son.

While doubt still lingers about boy’s identity, CNN mentions that a representative of the rapper confirmed to them that Adonis is truly Drake’s child.

Amid the buzz that Adonis’ photos have created, the Daily Mail notes that Brussaux joined in the fun as she uploaded a photoshopped image where she changed Drake’s hair color to blonde.

She disclosed in the caption that she made the hilarious switch to silence the fans who were baffled by Adonis’ hair color.
