Fantasia and Kendall are no exception as the picture Taylor posted via Instagram show them wearing protective masks. The singer and her husband are seen rocking grey hoodies as they pose wearing a serious expression on their faces. The image was captioned,
"Taylor Gang: Crazy when we have to get masked up to actually "Pay" for something?!- Salute."
Fantasia Barrino and Kendall Taylor got married in 2015 three weeks after they met. Before the union, Fantasia had remained single for a long while, and she says at the time, she was committed to herself.
Barrino, however, revealed during an interview on the Breakfast Club that she knew Taylor was her man when he asked to "cover" for her during one of her tours. Confused at what he meant by "cover" for her, she soon realized when he went down on his knees and prayed for her. She said,
"He kneeled down and started praying. And I couldn't even get caught up in the prayer, 'cause I was like, 'Is this real?'"
The American Idol star was impressed because Kendall never tried to sleep with her during the period before their marriage: "And then I kept watching how he flowed, and he never gave me no ooh's and ahh's, 'You bad'- he never tried to sleep with me."
Fantasia also gave advice to women who want to find a man. She claimed that submission is the key and that women should allow their significant others to be in control:
"Most women are trying to be a leader; that's why you can't find a man... Fall back and be the queen and let your man lead the way."
The soul singer has not always had good luck with men or with life either. She won the 2004 "American Idol," but things went downhill for her in the years after.
The rough patch was due to many bad choices she made, which almost ruined her career. The problems reached a peak in 2010 when Fantasia was accused by a woman who was married to the singer's boyfriend at the time of destroying her marriage.
She went through a devastating trial that involved allegations of home-wrecking and sex tapes. Afterward, she tried to kill herself by ingesting a lot of sleeping pills and aspirin, but fortunately, the attempt was unsuccessful.
For many years Fantasia picked up the pieces and made songs like "Lose To Win" that helped her pull through the tough times. She is now in a much better place and tries to use her song to help others who are in a dark place in their lives or have been there in the past.
