Jane Fonda brought back her iconic workout routine as a way to promote one of her causes on social media.

E! Online disclosed that the 82-year-old made her TikTok debut with a clip that showed how she has been staying fit during the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Academy Award-winning actress subsequently created the Jane Fonda Workout method, which cemented her a spot as a top fitness influencer in the '80s.

Through the clip, which the actress, activist, and model also shared in her Instagram page, she said

"Hello, Tik Tok! I'm bringing back the Jane Fonda Workout to fight the climate crisis."

Jane then kicked the video off by introducing herself as she did some leg lifts. However, barely seconds into the exercise, the 82-year-old stated that she knew that there were many workouts taking place on TV and the internet.

Due to that, she made it known that she would prefer it if people joined her for her virtual "Fire Drill Fridays," which she was doing for the planet.

While noting that Jane rocked a tight, long-sleeved red workout top and blue workout pants for the session, Hollywood Life recalled that the actress gained fame as an exercise queen when she took up aerobics as a side-gig.

In fact, the workout tape she released in 1982 was considered a revolutionary move at the time as it got millions of people to exercise along with her in their homes. The VCR cassette that contained the routine sold a whopping 17 million copies.

As regards her fire drill plans, People reported that the "Book Club" actress was working with Greenpeace USA to make the online rally a reality.

She also partnered with #CAYouthVsBigOil State tour and the Sunrise movement to draw some much-needed attention to the youth-led activism happening this month.

Most of Jane's friends, including Chelsea Handler, Alyssa Milano, Marisa Tomei, Piper Perabo, and Norman Lear, have encouraged their millions of fans to join the movement.
