Nene Leakes Shows New Hairstyle and Self-Applied Makeup in a New Photo

The television personality is using this quarantine to learn new things, like many of us, and she proudly shared her progress in self-styling with her fans on social media.

On April 6, 52-year-old actress and reality TV star Nene Leakes turned to her Instagram feed to reveal that she has been making good use of YouTube tutorials to improve her self-makeup and hairstyling abilities.

Giving a shout-out to her “fave makeup peeps,” Leakes appeared to be more than satisfied with the results of her latest self-style effort, writing:

“Proud of myself! I did my own hair and makeup to go live with Kim on IG last nite. I’m getting better! YouTube been helping a sista out!”

FANS REACT

The post was well-received among Leakes’ fans and followers, and even though the comments in the publication are limited, some of her close contacts were allowed to leave their impressions on the star’s look.

“I was wondering who did it. Nice,” someone wrote. “You rock it for the 50+ bad and boogie,” praised somebody else. “Your makeup artist should be really proud of you,” added a third person.

SECRET SERVICE

In a recent Instagram live chat with her fans, done on April 3, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star claimed that the secret service kept an eye on her not long ago when she happened to stay at the same hotel as President Trump.

Leakes, who knows Mr. Trump from back on his reality TV days (she was a contestant on “The Apprentice” in 2011, said that she felt invaded and complained about it in the Beverly Hills hotel where this allegedly took place.

“I was there before he arrived. I did not know that he would be staying there, and I really felt like the secret service followed me the entire time I was in the hotel. I was very upset by that,” Leakes claimed.

TEASES NEW SONG

Leakes can now add singer to her list of occupations, since she teased her first single “Hunni” on Instagram recently, which will be available on April 12.

The song is a collaboration with the awarded recording artist Lady Luck, and Leakes looked like she was having the time of her life as she danced and sang to the tune in the recording studio.

“Imma show you how to get to the money HUNNI April 12th the whole track drops! The number 1 housewife PERIOD,” Leakes stated in the video’s caption.
