Naomi Campbell Reminisces Surprising Prince William with Late Princess Diana
Naomi Campbell recalls a memorable encounter where she, along with other supermodels, surprised Prince William for his birthday.
During her live chat with Cindy Crawford on YouTube, Naomi Campbell reminisced about one of her most unforgettable experiences.
SURPRISING PRINCE WILLIAM
Campbell recalled Princess Diana planning a surprise birthday for her eldest son, Prince William, along with supermodels from the '90s such as Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer, and Campbell. She shared:
"He was coming home from school, and we had gotten there before he had gotten home from school, and Princess Diana was like 'Okay.' I mean, it was so sweet."

The late princess also taught her kids to be kind and give back to others, especially those who needed the most help.
William also never forgot about the special surprise. In a preview of the documentary "Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy," the royal recalled blushing upon seeing the set up with famous models.
MEETING PRINCESS DIANA
Crawford also met the young Prince during her visit to Kensington Palace, around two years after Campbell did.

She shared that she blushed while meeting the princess and was at awe at how "completely down-to-earth" Diana was.
During Crawford's visit, Princess Diana was in jeans and a sweater that made her feel laid back, which the model compared with "going to a friend's house." She added:
"So I also was probably a little, I mean it was uncomfortable, but it was sweet. It was a very sweet day and a great memory."

LESSONS FROM A ROYAL
Throughout Diana's life as a royal, she was known for her charitable work and humble personality, which gave birth to a nickname by the millions who loved her.
Although the "People's Princess" passed away when her sons were still young, she was able to influence their beliefs and teach them valuable lessons.

Among the things she taught them was that people lived different lives beyond the walls of their palace -- lives that involve hardship and struggles.
The late princess also taught her kids to be kind and give back to others, especially those who needed the most help.

Growing up, William and his brother Prince Harry were accustomed to different charitable work. Among William's foundations are BeatBullying, Children In Crises, Help for Heroes, and the Diana Awards.
