Jeannie Mai Is Engaged — inside Her Love Story with Jeezy Who Helped Her Heal from the Past
"The Real" co-host Jeannie Mai surprised the world earlier this month when she announced that her boyfriend, rapper Jeezy, proposed to her.
On April 6, Jeannie uploaded a photo to her Instagram account, showing her in a beautiful, sleeveless, loose, blue dress flashing her gorgeous smile to the camera.
"We had the first Thanksgiving in Atlanta, and it was dope."

JEANNIE MAI AND JEEZY'S ENGAGEMENT
Jeezy was wearing a white ensemble while holding the hand of his girlfriend close to his face as if he was about to kiss it.
The couple was posing in Jeezy's home, where they are spending the quarantine together. One of the most stunning elements of the image was the sunset in the background.
While the pic was lovely, it was her caption that attracted all the attention as she revealed that they had just gotten engaged! Jeannie wrote:
"I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life loving you... YES [ring emoji]. Thank you, everyone, for celebrating this journey with us."
Jeannie Mai and Jeezy announced their engagement a few days ago, but they actually got engaged back on March 27. They intended to make the big announcement during a trip to Vietnam that they had planned for this month.
However, the coronavirus pandemic brought with it a restriction on travels, so the rapper decided to surprise his girlfriend with a Vietnamese date night at home and asked her to marry him.

THEIR LOVE STORY
Jeannie Mai and her boyfriend have been making headlines since January 2019, when rumors of their romance hit the Internet for the first time. Initially, they kept everything away from the spotlight.
However, Malika Haqq, one of the friends of "The Real" co-host, uploaded a photo on her Instagram account that got the ball rolling.
Taken during Jeannie's 40th birthday party, it showed Malika with her boyfriend OT Genasis, Lori Harvey with her then-rumored boyfriend Trey Songz, and Jeannie with Jeezy. To make things even more explicit, the caption read: "3's Company."
As expected, Jeannie denied that there was something serious going on between the two and said that they were only having a good time together.

MAKING IT INSTAGRAM OFFICIAL
In August 2019, they made their first public outing. Freddy Harteis' ex-wife joined the rapper, formerly known as Young Jeezy, at the SnoBall Gala held in Georgia. They even posed together while locking arms.
Two weeks later, they went Instagram official, and from that point on, they have been one of the most beautiful couples on the Internet.
During one of the episodes of "The Real," Jeannie Mai's future husband was a matter of conversation as she labeled him as her "equal" and admitted that meeting him was one of the most "beautiful experiences" in her life.
The couple has spent some of the most important holidays together. For Thanksgiving, Jeannie joined the rapper's family. For Christmas, on the other hand, it was Jeezy who joined the TV host's family.
SPENDING THANKSGIVING TOGETHER
In an interview with Access Daily, Jeannie talked about their Thanksgiving together, and it was "dope." The TV personality confessed:
"We had the first Thanksgiving in Atlanta, and it was dope. We're talking like, started as an intimate dinner, turned into a dope little party with a DJ, we had the electric slide."
Jeannie is definitely thrilled about her new fiancé, especially since her first marriage ended up in a divorce. She and Freddy Harteis were married for ten years and, according to the TV personality, she was really young.
She pointed out, though, that Freddy was a "great guy" and that they tried their best to make their relationship work but that, in the end, they were just not compatible anymore. It's all part of the past now as Jeannie Mai is focused on her upcoming wedding.
