Christopher Meloni's Wife Sherman Plays a Big Part in the Actor's Life — Meet Her

Christopher Meloni is not only a good actor but also a good husband to Sherman Williams. The couple has been married since 1995.

Like other famous personalities, Meloni also likes to share important events in life on social media. And of course, that includes his beloved wife, Sherman.

The acclaimed actor often posts photos of him and Sherman on Instagram. Recently, he shared a picture where he can be seen putting his arm over the shoulder of his wife.

FIRST MEETING

They were both holding wine glasses while smiling at the camera. "Why. Not. #vineyardtrollin," Meloni captioned the adorable snap.

As reported by Country Living, Meloni and Sherman initially met in 1989. That happened when Sherman rode her motorcycle to the set of the TV series Meloni was taking a shot at.

The actor was quickly captivated by Sherman's appeal. He was impressed with her short, bleached blonde hair, and retro sunglasses.

THE COUPLE'S MARRIAGE

So, Meloni and Sherman met and flirted. In spite of the fact that Sherman had a boyfriend at the time, she later invited the actor to a gathering.

The pair didn't really turn into a couple for another two years. After four years, they tied the knot on the beach in Malibu. The theme was medieval.

SHE'S TOTALLY CALM

In 2001, they welcomed their first child, daughter Sophia Eva Pietra Meloni, together. They were blessed with another child, son Dante Amadeo Meloni, in 2004.

Meanwhile, looking back on his relationship with his children, Meloni clarified that he's especially engaged with both of their lives, as reported by Yahoo!.

The actor said that he wants Sophia and Dante to take part in sports or the arts. For him, those are places they get the chance to express themselves.

Meloni said goodbye to "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" in 2011. He played Elliot Stabler for over a decade. He has since ventured into various types of work, including "True Blood" and "Man of Steel. Happy!."
