Joe Minoso, who plays Jo Cruz on the beloved television series "Chicago Fire," got married a few years ago to Caitlin Murphy in a Chicago-themed wedding. Here is all there is to know about Caitlin and Joe.

CAITLIN MURPHY MINOSO

Caitlin Murphy is more than just the wife of Joe Minoso; she is a talented tattoo artist who is concerned about restoring beauty and making people feel good about themselves.

And while he felt sad that he could no longer work alongside Yuri on the show, he was happy for the time they both spent on screen.

Caitlin is a paramedical micro-pigmentation specialist and focuses on areola restoration also. She started her journey as a licensed cosmetologist.

She worked as a makeup artist at an high-end salon before going on to do makeup for television and film in Lousiana and Chicago.

With more than a decade of experience in handling the human skin, Caitlin has built a strong background in color theory and aesthetics while learning the profound importance of enhancing each individual’s unique beauty.

Caitlin, who spent most of her formative years in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California, expressed that she had a firsthand experience of how therapeutic surrounding one’s self in nature can be.

One of Caitlin’s goals is to encourage people to love themselves and to remember that true happiness lies within despite the scars they might get from life.

CAITLIN AND JOE

While little is known about how Caitlin and Joe met, they both worked on the set of “Chicago Fire" with Joe as an actor and Caitlin as the makeup artist.

The two got married in 2016 in a beautiful Chicago-themed wedding. Speaking of their wedding, Joe expressed that they wanted to have a 1920s kind of speakeasy thing that resonated with Chicago.

Prior to the day, the couple had given passwords to the guests to boost the theme. Also, for the sitting arrangement, the couple decided to have the tables named after speakeasies from back in the day.

To round off the whole theme, the couple opted to have their pictures taken in front of a firehouse door to honor the “Chicago Fire” show.

Joe Minoso is known for his role as Joe Cruz on the television series “Chicago Fire.” In the series, Joe is a product of Chicago's tough streets who decided to dedicate his life to serving with the brave men and women of the CFD.

After years of hard work, Joe Cruz was placed on Lt. Severide's (Taylor Kinney) rescue squad. The show, which is in its eighth season, saw Joe get married to his onscreen partner Chloe Allen played by Kristen Gutoskie.

Also, at the end of the seventh episode, Joe lost his best friend on the show Brian Otis played by Yuri Sardarov, who also happens to be his best friend in real life.

And while he felt sad that he could no longer work alongside Yuri on the show, he was happy for the time they both spent on screen.

Joe initially made his feature film debut in the blockbuster "Man of Steel." Following his acting on the series, he has been nominated five times for the best supporting actor in a drama series by Imagen Award.

"CHICAGO FIRE"

The “Chicago Fire” show is an American action drama series that follows the lives of first responders and how they handle situations that threaten the city of Chicago.

The series, which is executively produced by Dick Wolf, started in 2012 and is in its eighth season. It has also been renewed for the next four seasons.

Whether Joe and Caitlin met on the set of “Chicago Fire” or not, the couple is happy to be married and never fail to dote on each other via their social media pages.
