Kotb formerly served as a correspondent for the television news magazine program Dateline NBC. The 55-year-old author recently took to her Instagram page to share a series of photos in celebration of her second adopted daughter's birthday.
Two of the pictures feature Hope dressed in an Elmo polka dot dress. Her sister, Haley, could be seen with her in both photographs. Kotb captioned the post,
"As my best friend @karenswensen said.. Hope blooms this Easter! Happy bday Hope! #1."
Another picture featured Kotb in a Zoom video call with other members of her family, including her mother, Sameha Kotb, her brother, Adel, and her sister, Hala, who all wished to celebrate with Hope from a safe distance.
Fans of the talented journalist echoed her sentiments as they took to the comments section to wish Hope a happy birthday. A fan wrote, "Happy Birthday Hope, you are so precious and loved by your family."
