When she was just 16, Fantasia fell pregnant by her high school boyfriend, Brandel Shouse. The teenager gave birth to her daughter Zion Quari Barrino on August 8, 2001, just two months after her 17th birthday.

After her breathtaking ascension to fame, the stunning Fantasia found herself surrounded by men, handsome, successful men, all eager to get to know her a lot better. Between 2004 and 2011 Fantasia dated football player Michael Clayton, rapper Young Dro, and was even accused of having an affair with a married man, Antwaun Cook.

In 2011, Fantasia gave birth to her second child, Dallas Xavier Barrino, whose father she refused to identify, but who turned out to be Mr. Wrong #4, Antwaun Cook. - but she never stopped believing in love.

2. RECOGNIZING MR RIGHT

In 2015, Fantasia met Mr. Right, and incredibly enough, she recognized him...After all, that is even more difficult than actually finding the right man. Fantasia met Kendall at a local club, and she admits that at that time she wasn't open to taking a chance on love.

The singer chatted to the handsome, pleasant man for a while, then told him it was time to go. It was that moment that Kendall won her heart, and proved that he was the man she'd been waiting for. She revealed:

“I just knew [he was the one]. I was getting ready to go on the road, and he got on his knees and said, ‘Can I pray for you? I just want to cover for you down the road.’"

Fantasia knew she'd met a man who would look out for her, a man with a strong faith, who would do right by her.

3. NO SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE

After her unpleasant experiences with unreliable men, Fantasia wanted to do it right with Kendall. In an age when many couples have sex on their first date, Fantasia and Kendall decided to respect the precious sanctity of their love, and only share their bodies after marriage.

Fantasia and Kendall's wedding night was their first night together in every sense of the word - a true fairytale ending.

4. GETTING IT ALL DOWN IN WRITING

But before he married Fantasia, Kendall had one demand. He wanted a prenup. Because of Fantasia's fame and success, Kendall wanted to make sure that her financial welfare was protected in case everything didn't go as planned with their union.

The signing of the prenup, which was yet another example of Kendall "looking out" for his love was bandied about in Hollywood as a clear indication that she suspected him of being a golddigger. Fantasia said:

“He wanted the prenup, and I think that was a dope move. Because he wanted people to know. I don’t want you for… [your money.]”

5. TRUE LOVE CAN'T WAIT

Kendall popped the question shortly after they met, and three weeks to the day after their first date, the couple were married.
