Wayne Brady of 'Masked Singer' Dances with Daughter Maile & Ex-Wife Mandie in Matching Outfits
Fans praised Wayne Brady for his co-parenting style with his ex-wife Mandie Taketa after he shared a video of his blended family dancing in matching outfits.
Wayne Brady shocked many people when he revealed he had been self-isolating with his ex-wife, Mandie Taketa, and her boyfriend, Jason Fordham. Detailing his current living arrangement during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he explained:
"Our quarantining is a little different, we quarantine between both of our homes."
Wayne admitted that he is enjoying living in close quarters with Mandie, who he said is basically a neighbor to him now.
He said the days away from their busy work schedule has allowed his family to spend more quality time together to enjoy things like playing boards and doing Tik Tok videos. Recently, he shared one of his family's Tik Tok videos.
Wayne and his blended family wore color-coordinated outfits as they showed off their perfectly coordinated moves to an old school hip hop song. He added several tags to the video, including "core four," new normal," and "blended family."
"I wish my family would do TikToks with me," said one fan. Many fans complimented his dance, and another fan praised him for his unique family dynamic and co-parenting style.

Mandie and Wayne are raising 17-year-old, Maile. The couple split in 2008 after nearly ten years of marriage. However, they have always maintained a healthy co-parenting relationship.
Wayne said that their focus on their daughter has always pushed them to look at the bigger picture and be the best parents for Maile.
In an interview with US Weekly, he praised his ex-wife for being a great mother and amazing woman. In fact, their bond is so close that Wayne considers Mandie to be one of his best friends, he admitted:
"As weird as it sounds, I can honestly say she's closer to me than people who are my blood relatives."
Wayne's fans aren't the only people he had made proud with the way he lives his life. It is reported, he recently made his daughter proud after entering "The Masked Singer."
He admitted that after showing interest in the show, he had to confer with Maile before taking up the opportunity. Mandie was also part of the decision-making process, and after his win, they were both incredibly proud of him.
