When Bindi Irwin originally planned her wedding day, she intended to do it in front of 200 guests that plan, however, changed when COVID-19 was declared a pandemic.

Not only did the conservationist have to limit her guest list to three, but the day almost got ruined by the paparazzi. The 21-year-old made the revelation during the big day special that aired on Animal Planet with the title, "Crikey! It's the Irwins: Bindi's Wedding."

It would be recalled that Chandler and Bindi got married on March 25 in a sweet ceremony that saw them promising that they would help, encourage, and stand by each other forever.

While members of her and her husband, Chandler Powell's extended families understood her plight, the paparazzi didn't as they showed up in their droves at the Australia Zoo, where the ceremony was held.

Besides the paparazzi, a helicopter was seen circling over the zoo, which spooked the animals because of how close it was flying.

Despite those occurrences, Bindi and her man chose to focus on the lifelong vows they were about to make to each other as that “wasn’t going to stop us”.

They also ensured that the ceremony, which was attended by Irwin's mom, Terri; her younger brother, Robert; and her late father, Steve Irwin's best friend, Wes Mannion, honored their late father in some ways.

According to Good Morning America, Terri tweeted that 16-year-old Robert, walked his sister down the aisle while dressed in khaki, as it held a special meaning to them.

As it turned out, her late husband, who was known as the "Crocodile Hunter," rocked matching khaki outfits to a wedding that he attended with Robert just before he passed on in September 2006.

Another way that the Irwins paid homage to the late animal lover was by hanging a picture of him "with his dog Sui blown up on an easel." The venue of the wedding also held a special place in their hearts as Terri revealed that:

"I think it's an interesting parallel that Steve and I first met at Australia Zoo, and Bindi and Chandler first met at Australia Zoo."
