Halle Berry Reveals Pierce Brosnan of 'James Bond' Saved Her from Choking in Real Life
Halle Berry reveals her "James Bond" co-star Pierce Brosnan had to save her from choking in real life while they were doing a scene.
While on an interview video call with Jimmy Fallon for his "Tonight Show," Halle Berry revealed that Pierce Brosnan ended up being a real-life superhero while they were filming a scene.
Berry was doing a scene with Brosnan on "Die Another Day," where she was supposed to be acting sexy with a fig. In real life, however, she ended up choking on it and needed immediate help.
JAMES BOND SAVED HER
With Brosnan closest to her, he jumped into action and saved her from choking by doing the Heimlich maneuver. While Fallon noted that James Bond has never been seen doing Heimlich maneuvers in the movies, Berry vouched for the actor and said that he definitely knew how to do it.
"You should've seen it. James Bond knows how to Heimlich. He was there for me. He will always be one of my favorite people in the whole world."
ENJOYING THE SINGLE LIFE
Although she needed Pierce's help to get through her choking moment on set, Berry is actually quite the independent woman in real life. She has two children, Nahla and Maceo, whom she brings up as a single mother.
While she initially told herself that she'd only stay single for a year, it's been three years and she's enjoying every bit of it.
After three painful divorces, the Academy Award winner reveals she might stay single for the rest of her life. At 53, Halle is content with the life she has and needs no man to complete it.
ENJOYING HER CHILDREN'S COMPANY
Over the last few years, she's been focusing on her craft, as well as raising her two children out of the spotlight as much as she can. She disclosed her plans on an Instagram Live session with her friend Lena Waithe, saying: "It's been so great that I think I might stay like this!"
