Andrew Cuomo's Daughter Mariah Slammed for Wearing Mask Inappropriately
A picture posted by one of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s daughters when she joined her father for a stroll in public, had netizens poke their noses into the depicted scene in no uncertain terms.
Mariah, one of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s three daughters, recently shared a picture taken with her father as they took his beloved husky-malamute dog named Captain for a walk and fresh air amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
THE PICTURE
In the picture 25-year-old captioned, “Walking Captain with the “love gov,” Andrew is just behind his daughter with most of his face covered in a dark bandanna. With Mariah in the foreground sporting a facemask, it became glaring to some that her nose wasn’t covered.
Andrew, who got the nickname “love gov” among women since he started having daily press briefings amid the ongoing pandemic, requested that state residents cover their nose and faces while out in public just last week.
ANDREW'S APPEAL
“If you are going to be in a situation, in public, where you come into contact with other people in a situation that is not socially distanced, you must have a mask or clothing covering nose and mouth,” Andrew said.
When The Post asked a rep for the governor about the picture on Tuesday, it was said to be a “momentary slip of the mask.”
NETIZENS SHARE THEIR OPINIONS
However, due to Andrew’s appeal to the public, some netizens felt that she ignored his request, as one wrote that she should cover her nose “like everyone else,” while others thought it wasn’t a slip at all.
But not everyone agreed on the matter, as two other Instagram users pointed out:

THE LOVE GOV GIVES FATHERLY ADVICE
During one of his recent briefings, Governor Cuomo also shared some fatherly advice since his daughters started dating.
Inevitably, the question of what dad thinks about the boyfriend always comes up, and Andrew advised other fathers always to answer that they “like the boyfriend.”
The logic behind it is simple. It’s a double win if he really likes the boyfriend, but if not, the answer stays the same because the moment a dad says that he doesn’t like the boyfriend, it will make his daughter like him even more.
THE HARDEST PART OF THE PANDEMIC
Besides Mariah, Andrew also shares daughters Michaela and Cara with his ex-wife Kerry Kennedy. During an interview with Rolling Stone, Andrew said that not being able to see his mom and one daughter the hardest part of coping with the pandemic.
While Andrew Cuomo can't wait for social distancing to be lifted so he can reunite with his mother and his other daughter, the 62-year-old governor is also dreaming about some other things he would love to do.
Even though Andrew wants to go fishing and throw his cell phone in the ocean while he's at it, he also longs for a less chaotic future where all the anxiety, fear, and pain experienced by people presently has stopped.
