Fantasia Barrino of 'American Idol' Fame Shows off Fit Body during Rooftop Workout in a Video

Singer Fantasia Barrino isn’t letting the lockdown brought on by COVID-19 stop her from working on her body, as seen in a recent video on Instagram.

Fantasia Barrino has found a way to keep herself occupied as she isolates during the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic.

The former “American Idol” winner took to Instagram to share a video of her lifting weights on a rooftop as she stated in the caption:

“I swear me and my girls gone act a fool on stage. Keep pushing everyone...GOD IS WITH US!!”

The clip, which has been viewed a little over 369,000 times, showed the musician looking fit in a hoodie and a pair of camouflage pants. Fantasia’s Instagram post prompted her followers to shower her with praise, as many of them stated that they would take up working out.

Fantasia and Kendall recently seemed overjoyed when they welcomed a new addition, a grandchild, to their family.

As it turned out, keeping fit wasn’t the only thing that the “When I See U” crooner excelled at as Black Doctor reported that she was basking in marital bliss with her businessman husband, Kendall Taylor.

The couple, who got married in a lavish red, black, and white-themed wedding ceremony in North Carolina, has been going strong since 2015.

In fact, Fantasia and Kendall recently seemed overjoyed when they welcomed a new addition, a grandchild, to their family, according to an Essence report. The news, which the second-time grandmother shared on social media, came with an image of Fantasia’s stepson, Trey, and his family alongside the caption:

“We are absolutely proud of @treybrice2 @_kmccarthy for being masterful parents at such a young age.”

The exciting news came soon after Fantasia, and her man revealed through their famous “Taylor Talk” series, that being parents and grandparents have changed their priorities – especially as they continue to learn to balance family with business.

Recalling how they built their relationship, Fantasia told hosts of “Lip Service” that she and Kendall had first become friends and then they “got married very, very fast.” What that translated to was that they walked down the aisle within three weeks of meeting each other.

Despite the reactions her confession got, many of her fans are happy to see how far the R&B singer-songwriter, actress, and author has come since 2010 when she attempted to take her life.

According to the Chicago Tribune, It was her experience from that time that inspired songs like “Lose to Win” and “Side Effects of You.” Fantasia has since reached a better place, and fans are anxious to see what she has planned for the future.
