The caption gave a bit of an insight into how she was spending her period quarantining at home by taking things easy. Simone's braids were piled on her head in a top knot with her head resting on her arm as she stared at the camera.
The picture showed off her stunning athletic figure that no doubt was earned by years of rigorous training. Her fans and followers fell in love with the photo and took to the comment section to comment just as much.
As the 23-year-old suggested, she has been taking her time in quarantine easy, doing fun things, including the viral social media handstand challenge.
Biles, however, admitted that although she was a bit disappointed at the unfolding of events.
The social media challenge sprang up in a bid to kill boredom and entertain people. It involved a person putting on their shirt while doing a handstand. Simone had an even better idea and shared a video which she captioned:
"Handstand challenge."
In Biles' version, she completed the challenge with a twist. Instead of putting on a shirt, the exceptional gymnast somehow managed to take off her pink sweatpants.
The impressive video quickly became an internet sensation as people were awed by her strength. Many of her fans even took to their social media accounts to share their attempts of her version of the handstand challenge. Popular model Chrissy Teigen responded to the video on Twitter, also equally amazed.
Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, the four-time Olympic gold medalist who had initially planned to retire after the Tokyo 2020 Olympics had to delay her retirement as the sports event was postponed till 2021.
Biles, however, admitted that although she was a bit disappointed at the unfolding of events, she understood how necessary the postponement was, and she would now have to reset her mind for another 15 months of hard work and enjoy the quarantine as best as she could.
