Tamera Mowry of 'The Real' Plays Pretend Restaurant with Family during Quarantine
Tamera Mowry-Housley has a lot of time on her hands now that she's working from home, and that's given her many ideas on how to entertain her kids.
Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley have two growing kids, and it might be quite difficult to keep them inside the house for a long period of time. That is why to make sure they're always entertained, they think of many activities involving the entire family.
One family-favorite activity for the Mowry-Housley kids is playing "pretend restaurant," complete with a restaurant table setup and waiters. Aside from their favorite activity, the former "Sister, Sister" actress also revealed that they do a lot of "twinkering around."
FILMING "THE REAL" FROM HOME
When Tamera Mowry isn't playing with her kids, she's usually doing errands or filming her hit TV show "The Real" from the comfort of their home. While this is a convenience that she currently gets to experience, she opened up about how difficult it's been for her to put on her own makeup.
Used to having people do her hair and makeup on set, Tamera has had to make do on her own since stay-at-home measures were put in place. She's been practicing how to put better makeup looks on herself which she shares with her followers on Instagram.
OPENING THEIR HOME TO OTHERS
Recently, Mowry-Housley's house tour was shown by Natalie Morales from "Today." After people began giving positive reactions, she couldn't help but mention it on "The Real," as she was surprised by the good reviews of people.
Previously, Mowry had guests who weren't too impressed with the house, assuming that she'd have a bigger one given her fame. However, this time around, people were noting how comforting it all looked.
ENJOYING THE FRUITS OF THEIR HARDWORK
Overall, building their family home was a team effort between Tamera and her husband Adam, and they made sure to incorporate their ideas and make it work together. While she admits to liking minimalism, her husband loves antiques and so they made sure to blend it in.
Now, the entire family is enjoying their stay at home and is making the most out of their time together as they try and do their part in stopping the spread of COVID-19.
