Tionne Watkins Only Daughter Chase Anela Celebrates Mom's 50th Birthday with a Heartfelt Tribute
T-Boz from TLC celebrated her 50th birthday with a heartfelt tribute complete with rarely seen family pictured posted by her daughter, Chase Rolison.
Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins' daughter Chase Rolison gave a rare insight into her family life with her famous mother when she shared a heartfelt tribute along with family pictures, she wrote:
"Happy 50th Birthday to my mother, my best friend, and my biggest role model. I love you ?."
Chase shared mother-daughter throwback pictures. Among some of her favorite moments with her mother, she shared a video of a special performance from her childhood.
In the video fellow bandmate, Chilli and her son Tron Austin joined Chase on stage for a dance performance, in which they clapped and sang together as they wished T-Boz a happy birthday.
Over the years, T-Boz has overcome several life-threatening conditions from sickle cell anemia that her doctors believed she wouldn't live past 30-years-old, to a brain tumor. Through it all her daughter had been her greatest motivation. In 2009 she said:
"I have a daughter I have to raise and I need to be here for her. You know what I mean? So it was like I want to live and they made that possible."

According to
, after years of recovery from her health battles and nearly losing her life when she went into a coma after giving birth to Chase in 2000 and, T-Boz has learned to appreciate the little things life.
She revealed that she had lost a small percentage of her hearing and eyesight. However, it has not made her lose her passion for performing with Chilli in TLC.
Chilli shared her birthday message with a hilarious conversation the two women had on Instagram Live when she called in and commented on how T-Boz didn't have any music playing in the background.
Fans were treated to an impromptu dance-off when Chilli started showing off some old-school dance moves as T-Boz cheered her friend on.
In 2017, almost 16 years after having her first child, T-Boz added to her family when she adopted a two-year-old boy named Chance.
She told PEOPLE that the bond she shares with Chance feels the same as the one she has with Chase. She revealed that bringing him home gave her the same feeling of love that she felt when she gave birth.
