Lacey Chabert from "Party of Five" is all grown and a mother to an amazing daughter who she loves and calls her little unicorn.
There is an absolute joy that comes with being a mother. The feeling of having a little one depending on you can sometimes be hard but worthwhile.
Lacey Chabert, who shot into the limelight with her role as Claudia in "Party of Five," is all grown and a mother to an amazing daughter Julia Mimi Bella whom she shares with her husband, David Nehdar.
Speaking on how motherhood has changed her, Lacey once opened up about her daughter and the thrills she gets from merely being Julia's mom.
JULIA MIMI BELLA NEHDAR
Born on September 1, 2016, Julia Mimi Bella Nehdar is the first and only child of Lacey Chabert and David Nehdar. The couple who got married sometime in 2013 welcomed their daughter, and like any other parent, they were ecstatic about the birth. They decided to name her Julia after Lacey's mom, whose name is Julie.
To welcome Julia into the world, Lacey and David went all out in setting up a nursery with pink, grey, and flowery designs. Speaking of the experience, Lacey expressed that she was nervous and often panicked about them forgetting a critical detail.
The birth of Julia marked the beginning of a new experience for Lacey, although, with the help of those around her, she was able to have a support system.
Speaking about Julia, Lacey revealed that her daughter is growing up to be one of the most incredible beings she has ever come across. She described Julia as having quite the sass and boss baby attitude sometimes.
Recalling an experience, Lacey revealed that she had given Julia her first time out, and when she looked at her daughter, she seemed to be crying.
However, when she turned back, she caught her laughing and mocking her. Despite the sass, Julia is growing up pretty fast, and according to Lacey, the toddler is picking up language and attitude quite quickly for such a young age.
While Julia might be a sweet and adorable child, like all children, she often has moments of emotional tantrums that leave Lacey perplexed. One such moment is when the family tries to go through the airport, and the officers come to inspect her stroller.
A few years back, however, Lacey got scared when she had to rush Julia to the emergency unit because she had a severe allergic reaction. Although she did not reveal what Julia reacted to, Lacey thanked the hospital staff for looking after her daughter and calming her.
JULIA IS LACEY'S MAIN PRIORITY
Despite the challenges of being a mother and working at the same time, Lacey affirms that Julia is her main priority. And while she is still trying to figure things out, she is glad to have Julia in her life.
According to Lacey, the joys of motherhood she experiences anytime she holds her daughter cannot be rivaled by any feeling in the world.
While it has not been easy juggling work and motherhood, she often thanks those around her who help and support her in caring for her daughter.
Lacey also expressed that having a circle of friends who are mothers has been quite helpful as they get to share thoughts and ideas, although it can sometimes be frustrating when others try to lord their opinion over her daughter.
When asked what example she wants to set for her daughter, Lacey revealed that she wished for Julia to grow up knowing that she can be strong and do whatever it is she sets her mind to despite the challenges.
Lacey Chabert has been on the acting scene for more than two decades. She had her debut playing Claudia in the television drama series "Party of Five," although she had done commercials and a few Broadway shows before then.
Having gained experience from acting in some television series, Lacey's big-screen debut was in the 1998 movie "Lost in Space."
With her sultry and calm voice, she went on to do more commercials and small screen movies before she was cast in the 2004 film "Mean Girls," where she played Gretchen Weiners.
Following the success of "Mean Girls," Lacey has gone on to star in countless "Hallmark" movies, some of which include: "Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe," among others.
Ultimately, Lacey has been able to adequately balance her work schedule and being a mother with the help of her husband and an efficient support system.
