Donny Osmond Wishes Brother Merrill on His 67th Birthday with a Throwback Photo

Donny Osmond recently took to his Instagram account to wish his brother a happy birthday. The musician shared his well-wishes alongside a throwback photo of himself and his siblings.

Donny, 62, celebrated his older brother, Merrill Osmond’s 67th birthday on Thursday, April 30. Sharing a photo of himself and his four siblings, the star wrote:

“HappyBirthday to the handsome guy in the middle!”

The singing sensation continued by revealing that he was “grateful for all of the good times we've shared.” He wished his older brother “the very best” for his special day and sent his love to him.

Turning to his humorous side, the star joked about the shirts and hairstyles that featured in the throwback image. All he had to say about them was “Whoah baby!”

In the picture, Donny wore a white shirt with blue flowers. His brother Wayne was featured to Donny’s left and had on a gray and blue striped dress shirt.

Then Jay was seen posing on Donny’s right with a black and white print shirt on. Merrill wore a black dress shirt with a white paisley print. Alan donned a white pinstriped shirt and blue jeans.

MERRILL PERFORMS ON “THE TALK”

Donny concluded his post by asking fans to guess what year the photo was taken. The last time Merrill sang together with his family was when his sister, Marie Osmond, celebrated her 60th birthday on “The Talk.”

The performance happened in October 2019. Donny and Marie are famous for their Las Vegas residency that began in September 2008 and ended last year.

The other Osmond brothers who weren’t featured in the photo are Jimmy, Tom, and Virl. The “Go Away Little Girl” singer, Alan, Jay, Merrill, and Wayne was all part of the group called The Osmonds.

WHO ARE THE OSMOND PARENTS

The Osmond children’s parents were Olive and George Osmond. The couple who were married in 1944 and remained together until death set them apart.

In 2004, Olive was the first one to go and her husband followed in 2007.
