Anderson Cooper, Kate Hudson & Other Stars Who Shared the Spotlight with Their Moms
There are a lot of superstars who love to share the spotlight with their beloved mothers. To pay tribute to Mother's Day, here are eight celebrities who truly cherish their moms.
Joaquin Phoenix. The actor celebrated his Best Actor win at the 92nd Academy Awards with his mother, Arlyn Phoenix, as reported by Insider.
Phoenix won for "Joker." He was previously nominated for three other Oscars for his roles in "Gladiator" (2000), "Walk the Line" (2005), and "The Master" (2012).

Anderson Cooper. The broadcast journalist has a one of a kind relationship with his mom, Gloria Vanderbilt. He once said that his mother was very supportive after he publicly came out.
Cooper and Vanderbilt have gone into many entertainment projects together since, including co-writing a book together called "The Rainbow Comes and Goes."

Kate Hudson. The "Almost Famous" actress and her equally famous mother, Goldie Hawn, view themselves as closest companions. In an interview, Hudson said that her mom is a "great confidante."
Meanwhile, Hawn revealed in an interview that she changed her daughter's name after she kicked her in utero. The Academy Award-winning actress shared that she had named her Rebecca, but then she decided to name her Kate because she believed her daughter is tough.
Justin Bieber. The acclaimed singer has consistently had an exceptionally close bond with her mom, Pattie Mallette. However, over the past couple of years, their close relationship started dwindling.
In an interview, Bieber said that he has had a more amicable relationship with his father, Jeremy, recently. But fortunately, the "Love Yourself" singer has reunited with Pattie, trying to work on rebuilding their former friendship.
Miley Cyrus. The famous pop singer always shows mad love for her mother, Tish Cyrus, on social media. She frequently shares photographs of her mom, gushing over how excellent she looks.
In spite of her parents' divorce, Cyrus and Tish have stayed exceptionally close. Her mother even supported her after she discussed her bisexuality to her.
Ryan Gosling. The actor has brought his mother, Donna, to numerous Hollywood occasions, as reported by Good Housekeeping.
In 2012, Gosling "jumped to his feet, clapping and taking pictures" when her mom walked to get her degree. Donna graduated from Brock University in Canada at the time.

Blake Shelton. The "God Gave Me You" singer recorded the Christmas duet, "Time for Me to Come Home," with his mother, Dorothy Shackleford, in 2012.
The pair shared the whole procedure from writing to singing. Dorothy was also encouraged to write a holiday novel of the same name.

Emma Stone. The actress was her mother Krista's "rock," when the latter was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. To celebrate Krista's fifth-year cancer-free in 2013, the mother-daughter duo got matching blackbird tattoos.

Alongside her mother, Stone, who was the world's highest-paid actress in 2017, also posed for a Revlon public service campaign to bring issues to light for breast cancer.
