Sade's transgender son, Izaak Theo and his girlfriend Emily, paid tribute to their love story in separate posts celebrating their anniversary.

Months after completing his transition, Sade’s transgender son, Izaak Theo Adu marked another milestone by celebrating his anniversary with his girlfriend.

Izaak shared a sentimental post to pay tribute to his love story with his girlfriend, Emily. He featured a dramatic photo of him sitting on a railing while looking out at the night sky.

“A year ago today you came into my life, I always knew you were out there,” Izaak, whose birth name is Mickailila, wrote. “Blessed to have you by my side. I love you my Maggie Mayhem.”

In one of his many updates documenting his 6-month journey to manhood, the "master Instagrammer" wrote about how exhausting it was both physically and emotionally.

Meanwhile, Emily reciprocated by sharing photos of Izaak and honoring him through her caption.

“It’s been a year since we met :) now you’re wearing my bb fish necklace and saving bees on the lake here with me in Fresno.”

Emily continued by acknowledging how they met writing, “the internet is crazyyy.... but I’m so happy this app brought you into my life LOVE YOU YUNG GUAT.”

September 2019 marked the month Izaak completed his transition to becoming a transgender man. He was grateful for the support his mother Sade showed him.

The 23-year-old spent six months in the hospital before revealing that he was finally coming home. “Thank you for fighting with me to complete the man I am,” Izaak had written for his mom in a post celebrating his homecoming.

In one of his many updates documenting his 6-month journey to manhood, the “master Instagrammer” wrote about how exhausting it was both physically and emotionally. However, he was determined to see through the path he felt he was meant to take.

Izaak began his transition in 2016. He made the announcement on his social media by expressing his excitement to embark on “the first day of the rest of my life.” Izaak had previously identified himself as a lesbian but finally turned the page to complete his journey.

Sade has been mum about her son's journey but it's clear from Izaak's updates that his mother is fully supportive of him. Izaak has many reasons to be happy these days. Not just because he found the love of his life, but because he has the support of the people who matter most.
