Even though Emily began litigating at a firm soon after she finished Law School, she had a dream of becoming an author. Several years later, the 48-year-old made her mark with her debut novel, “Something Borrowed,” which she released in 2004.
Emily temporarily made her Instagram profile private before she reopened to the public who saw that the comments about Markle were gone.

While she has enjoyed a successful career, Emily recently popped into the news for something other than her books. Us Magazine reported that the author shook the internet when she went on a rant about Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle.
Emily had taken to her Instagram story to slam Meghan after a video of her reading to her one-year-old son, Archie Harrison was released. Emily referred to the 38-year-old as “unmaternal” and “such a phony” in a text message posted on her Instagram Story.
The writer then added a post where she wrote on an account called "What Meghan Wants," “Adorable child and book. But… Holy ‘me first.’ This is the Megan show.”
While many royal observers are waiting to see if Harry and Meghan will respond, E! News pointed out that several people already called out the author for her unkind comments.
Meanwhile, Emily’s website spilled some facts about the author, including how she played the violin for years. Emily revealed that if she could do anything else besides writing, she would be a professional baby naming consultant.

Her reason for that was that she couldn’t understand how many couples made little to no effort towards making sure that things, like whether the name goes with their last or sibling names, would work.
One other attribute that people got to see of Emily was her apologetic side, which came after royal fans attacked her for sharing vile statements about Meghan.
Fox News reported that Emily temporarily made her Instagram profile private before she reopened to the public who saw that the comments about Markle were gone.
The site added that the 48-year-old also uploaded a series of pictures that showed screenshots of remarks she had previously made toward Meghan’s positive nature. She also included an image of her standing next to a cardboard cutout of Meghan and Harry.
