Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Reportedly Postpone Their Wedding Due to Pandemic
Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez have reportedly put off their plans to walk down the aisle during summer.
Due to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic, many people have had to put off any life-altering plans they might have previously made.
A source recently told E! News that one of such people was Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez who have put their plans to get married during summer on hold.
The wedding, which was supposed to happen in Italy, was already paid for.
According to the source, the professional athlete and the singer-songwriter have been "struggling for weeks over this decision."
However, since there was no immediate proof that life would return to normal any time soon, they felt the best thing to do was to postpone the wedding.
Despite the change in their plans, Daily Mail noted that Jennifer previously revealed that she wasn't bothered about semantics when it comes to the timing of her wedding.
"[Alex is] like, "Whatever you want to do, we can talk about it." I said, "But if we're going to be together for the rest of our lives, what is the rush?"'
A source also told Us Weekly that the wedding, which was supposed to happen in Italy, was already paid for. The source added that the singer had every intention to tie the knot with her man as shortly after things return to normal.
The couple's fans have applauded that move as Jennifer has been married more than twice, and her man has an ex-wife. Her most recent union was to Marc Anthony which lasted for ten years between 2004 and 2014.
The "Ain't Your Mama" crooner was also married to Cris Judd between 2001 and 2003 and Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998. Meanwhile, Alex was married to Cynthia Scurtis from 2002 to 2008 – the pair share two kids.
