Duane Martin of 'LA's Finest' Shares Video of His Rarely-Seen Mom in Special Post for Mother's Day
"Martin" actor Duane Martin shares a tribute to his mom right on time for Mother's Day, sharing an interesting story about his family's memories with their mom in the process.
It's Mother's Day once again, and many have been sharing wonderful tributes about their moms on social media. Duane Martin is one of them, as he decided to share an interesting fact about their relationship.
According to Martin, he and his siblings have made it a point to provide their mom with everything she could ever want, except for one thing: being a contestant on "The Price Is Right." While they could've easily gotten her anything she could win on the show, she still wanted to be in it.
HIS MOM'S FAVORITE SHOW
Despite this, he wonders what it might have been like if she did join the show, as it's a memory that he remembers growing up with. For the past 40 years, he and his siblings have had to keep up with her love for the show.
"I often wonder if she would win it all or freeze. Both scenarios would be priceless. Happy Mother's Day, Betsy Martin. I love you endlessly."
HER BUBBLY PERSONALITY
It seems Duane and his siblings had a great time growing up, as their mom's bubbly personality is something she continued to have through the years. Now that she's a grandmother, she's also shown this side of her to them.
Although Duane keeps a close relationship with his family, his own recently fell apart when Tisha Campbell filed for divorce after 27 years together, and 21 years of marriage.
PASSING ON THE SILLY GENES
In a throwback video, Duane hilariously shows his son Xen giving his grandma the side-eye as she danced publicly. According to the actor, this is definitely where he got his silly genes from.
"I'll always love my mama, but she CRAY CRAY, right [Xen]? Now Yall know where my silly gene comes from."
DUANE'S OWN MARRIAGE
Although Duane keeps a close relationship with his family, his own recently fell apart when Tisha Campbell filed for divorce after 27 years together, and 21 years of marriage. Despite being together for almost three decades, Tisha finally called it quits and asked for privacy during that time.

After getting married in 1996, they had two children, sons Xen and Ezekiel whom they continue to co-parent up until today. The pair famously starred on Martin Lawrence's hit '90s show "Martin," before it went off-air due to rifts between Lawrence and Campbell-Martin.
