Jon Gosselin's Son Collin Honors Dad's Girlfriend Colleen Conrad on Mother's Day

Former reality television star Jon Gosselin's son had a lovely message for his dad's girlfriend, Colleen Conrad, on Mother's Day, and he might just have been channeling his mom!

Collin Gosselin joined in the just concluded Mother's Day celebration. And for reasons best known to him, the teenage star chose to celebrate his dad's girlfriend, Colleen Conrad.

In what looked like a shade post against his star mom, Kate Gosselin, the youngster sweetly wrote about Conrad while praising her.

MOTHER'S DAY FOR COLLEEN

On his Instagram page, the 16-year-old addressed Conrad in a lengthy tribute as he honored her with endearing words. Collin included a photo of him and his dad's girlfriend smiling as they shared a selfie. He wrote:

"...today we pay love forward to our mothers, but I don't think mother can describe all the things Colleen has done for me…"

He went on to describe all the qualities of a mother and how mothers see through the utmost care of their children. Collin, however, added that being best friends with their children was the best part of being a mom. He described Conrad as one of his "guiding lights" and "guidelines."

A RIFT BETWEEN COLLIN AND HIS MOM?

For a while now, fans of the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" show have witnessed different tumultuous times in the Gosselin family right from the couple's divorce.

In 2018, Collin wrote a letter to his dad, pleading with the TV personality to withdraw him from the special needs school he got enrolled in. Presently, he lives with Jon in Pennsylvania after Judges gave him full custody in the same year.

According to Gosselin, he and his ex-wife have been in a tussle over child custody for 12 years.

Collin's sister, Hannah, also lives with their dad. Once speaking on the "First Class fatherhood" podcast, Gosselin talked about the state of his family while making it known that they needed family therapy.

THE SEXTUPLETS BIRTHDAY

As the Mother's Day celebration was going underway, Collin and his siblings were turning a year older. On her Instagram page, Kate shared a heartwarming message in honor of her brood.

The celebrity mom wrote on Instagram: "Happy 16th Birthday to my half a dozen 'Hershey Kisses', as they were called at birth!... You're 6 of the sweetest things to happen to my life!

Jon had a post of his own on Instagram as well, but he left an extra message for the kids that weren't with him while letting them know that he missed them.

According to Gosselin, he and ex-wife Kate have been in a tussle over child custody for 12 years as the 43-year-old dad strives to be with his kids.
