Carrie Underwood Shares Rare Photo of Mom Carole in an Emotional Mother's Day Post

Carrie Underwood celebrated Mother's Day with both a tribute to her mom and a look at the adorable gift she got from her boys. The resemblance was uncanny.

On Sunday, Carrie Underwood took to Instagram to celebrate two things — her mom and being a mother herself. She shared three slides, one of which was a rare throwback of mom, Carole Underwood.

The country singer accompanied her post with a moving caption about the unique role that mothers have and how lucky she is to be in her position. The post is found below.

"How am I so blessed to be able to call this woman' Mom,' and to have the two sweetest boys call me by the same name?!?!" the singer wrote before wishing hers and all moms a Happy Mother's Day.

She then sent out positive wishes to all moms out there. Carrie shares sons, Isaiah, five, and Jacob, one, with her husband, Mike Fisher. The singer is one of three girls from her mom.

Carole plays an active role in her famous daughter's life, even rapping during a concern last year. During Carrie's Cry Pretty concern tour, Carole did the verse for the song, "The Champion."

The mother-daughter duo rocked out in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in front of undoubtedly shocked fans. Carrie later posted the clip on Instagram for all to see the older woman in action.

When she's not hitting the stage, Carrie enjoys being at home with her family. Back in March, the "Before He Cheats" singer admitted that she has to level down her personality to live a regular life.

"I feel like if I were the person that I am on stage when I'm at home, I just don't know if that person would, like, have too many friends," the 37-year-old noted.

Currently, Carrie and Fisher are being challenged by the coronavirus quarantine like everyone else. In early May, Fisher opted to give his boys at-home haircuts due to the lockdowns.

Carrie shared photos of the attempt on her Instagram stories. In one slide, she joked that she was next for a cut. She's been sharing glimpses of family time with her followers.

Last month, she also delighted fans with a photo of Fisher holding up both boys. Isaiah had his hands outstretched as if he were an airplane. "Mornings at the Fisher house," Carrie captioned it.
