GROWING UP SINCE "SISTER SISTER"

Fans remember Lee from "SIster Sister" as Jamal Woodson, Tia Mowry's boyfriend, but since then the actor has matured and has become an even more accomplished actor, with some serious credits to his name in prime-time television.

"LET'S STAY TOGETHER"

After "Sister Sister," the young Lee did a flurry of guest appearances on some of the top shows of the time, including " Moesha," " All About the Andersons," "Monk," and " The Good Guys," before landing a starring role in the rom-com series "Let's Stay Together" in 2011.

In BET the series, Lee played Jamal, a legal aid attorney, devoted to his wife and to his children. It was at this time that he met and married Shea. Although wildly popular in the beginning, "Let's Stay Together" failed to live up to its promise and was canceled after four seasons.

A NEW PROJECT

But a new and exciting project was waiting in the wings. Lee was picked by NBA star and producer LeBron James for the cast of the STARZ comedy series, "Survivor's Remorse" in which he plays the cousin of the main character, Cam Calloway.

The series focused on Cam's struggle to adapt to his new life as a pro athlete after signing a lucrative contract and moving with his ambitious family to Atlanta, who is out to get all they can out of their suddenly famous and rich relative.

"THE FIRST WIVES CLUB"

The series was critically acclaimed and ran until 2017, leading to Lee's new role on the main cast of "The First Wives' Club." The series is based on the original 1996 hit comedy of the same name, which was directed by Hugh Wilson.

The film starred iconic actresses Diane Keaton, Goldie Hawn, and Bette Midler as the wives of wealthy men who dump them after years of marriage for younger women. The series follows the same premise: three women struggle through divorce from cheating ex-husbands and get a taste of sweet revenge in the process.

Lee plays Gary Washington, the cheating husband of a successful surgeon, Bree - played by Michelle Buteau - and the father of her children, and her college sweetheart. Lee said about his character:

"Gary, he’s kind of in damage control mode. He’s trying to really save his family, made a real bad mistake and really fighting for his family."

And family is what Lee is all about. His wife Sheana is a talented fashion stylist with a unique style that has been gathering devoted followers on social media. Sheana has her own website, "The Goldbar."

Despite their demanding careers, there is one thing the Lees put first, their family. For both Lee and Shea, their love for each other, and for their children is their greatest treasure, and their happiness their greatest achievement.
