Earlier this year, Snoop proved how much he loved and adored his mother by taking her advice and apologizing to Gayle King following his outburst over her interview with WNBA icon, Lisa Leslie, on the late Kobe Bryant.

Snoop had lashed out at Gayle King after she made mention of Kobe Bryant's alleged sex scandal in the wake of his death. Snoop had felt the question was inappropriate, seeing as Kobe had just died and lashed out.

Following his outburst, Snoop apologized to Gayle and credited his mother for talking to him and pointing him in the right direction. He stated that his mother had called him and talked about how his actions did not reflect who he was and how he was brought up.

In all, irrespective of his fame and achievements, Snoop always acknowledges the role his mother played in his life, and he is thankful to her for all the sacrifices she made.
