According to Essence, in the clip which was shared via Instagram, Kirk is seen kicking off the show by conducting a masked quartet as they play Megan Thee Stallion's smash hit "Savage."
As regards his union with his wife, Tammy Franklin, [it was] reported that all seemed well with the duo, who have been together for over two decades.
Within a few seconds, the cameras then turned toward the house where his wife, daughter, and mother-in-law each claimed she was "A mama / Living free no drama / Like Michelle Obama."
The clip faded with his mother-in-law settling into a couch and picked up a copy of Michelle's best-selling autobiography, "Becoming," while Kirk focused on conducting the outro. The Mother's Day clip came after Kirk posted an image of his adopted mother and claimed that:
"I would've showered her with to show my appreciation for not only changing my name, but changing my life's direction."
The Grammy Award-winning gospel singer has often talked about the challenges he went through growing up, including the difficulty of becoming a father at 17.
During an interview with the Oprah Winfrey Network, Kirk talked about that experience and how his fun-loving approach deepened once his career began to take off.

Through the post's caption, the 49-year-old said that even though she loved being the gospel singer's wife, she intentionally planned to remain his girlfriend.
It was that state of mind that prompted her to wear the wedges he loved instead of the flat sandals she wanted.
Tammy's determination to do what is best for her marriage and Kirk's willingness to admit that their relationship takes hard work has kept them going for so long. Fans suspect that it will keep them going for many more years.
