Omar Epps' Wife Keisha Shares Rare Photo of Their Daughter K'Mari Who Is Turning 16 Soon

Keisha Epps admits her daughter with Omar Epps who turns 16 soon is a "perfect blend" of her parents.

Omar and Keisha Epps’ daughter, K’Mari is almost sixteen and she’s beautiful and a blessing to her parents. Keisha acknowledged her teen in a recent post featuring photos of K’Mari with her picture-perfect smile.

A “perfect blend” of her parents as Keisha commented in her post, K’Mari is quite the stunner. She has beautiful eyes and an endearing smile, qualities she inherited from her equally good-looking parents.

Keisha’s flashback Friday post also revealed her reaction to her eldest child turning sixteen soon. “Yikes!” she wrote and added, “But…what a blessing.”

Omar grew up without the father who abandoned him and his mother when he was still young. But the actor admits this didn’t factor into his capability as a parent.

Keisha and Omar are blessed with two children together. Their younger son Amir is 12. Omar also has a daughter from a previous relationship, Aiyanna whose late mother was Yusra Salama. Aiyanna is around twenty.

In 2018, Omar shared his thoughts on parenthood from the perspective of one who grew up without a father in his book, “From Fatherless to Fatherhood.” He stressed the importance of being active in his children’s lives.

Believing in the value of discipline, Omar said the key is to talk things out with children when they make a mistake and explain to them why they’re being punished.

Omar grew up without the father who abandoned him and his mother when he was still young. But the actor admits this didn’t factor into his capability as a parent. He reasoned,

“Even if you have both parents in the house when you are growing up, once you become one yourself, it's still completely different because it's your child.”

Omar is aware of his children’s uniqueness. In fact, he’s constantly evolving as they age. As they grow older, his relationship with them changes.

When Aiyanna went to prom three years ago, Omar was her proud father sending her off. Last year, he was the family man who brought K'Mari and Amir to the premiere of his Halloween-theme flick, “Trick.”

It’s such an inspiration to see Omar and his wife breezing through parenthood much like they breezed through their 14-year marriage. Many couples could learn a thing or two from this wonderful duo.
