Hilaria Baldwin Shows off Baby Bump, Says Daughter Carmen Is Excited to Be a Big Sister Again

The Baldwin household is brimming with excitement as they get ready for baby number five, but Hilaria’s oldest daughter Carmen simply can’t wait to become a big sister again.

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin have their fifth child on the way, and with her already halfway through the pregnancy, Hilaria captured a sweet moment she shared with her 6-year-old daughter Carmen.

The fitness guru waited until she was over four months pregnant before sharing the news with her four children, who besides Carmen, includes 4-year-old Rafael, 3-year-old Leonardo, and 2-year-old Romeo.

Posting a perfectly captured moment where Carmen lovingly wrapped her arms around her mother’s growing baby bump, Hilaria added as caption:

“She was feeling the baby move and [was] having a whole convo about how she is so excited to be a big sister again.”

Understandably, Hilaria wanted to wait until she shared the news, as the announcement of her pregnancy came five months after she had her second miscarriage within a seven-month timeframe. However, Hilaria had a difficult time keeping the happy news from Carmen.

During a previous interview, Hilaria shared that Carmen knew she would soon have a new sibling because she kept asking Hilaria why her “belly is getting big.” And although Hilaria doesn’t need to change the subject of her pregnancy anymore because everyone knows, she and Alec don’t know the sex of their baby yet.

Hilaria is admittingly “very nervous” about being pregnant during this time, but she happily reported that “all is healthy with this little munchkin” when she shared a video clip of her latest check-up.

Since Hilaria has gone around the metaphorical pregnancy block a few times, she said that she “knew right away” when she became pregnant and elaborated:

“I knew before I could take a test that I was pregnant. I’ve done this so many times that I really know that feeling."

The 36-year-old won’t be taking any risks with her health, and she will be staying at home in compliance with social distancing regulations. Hilaria doesn’t want to “lose this pregnancy, too,” but despite the added stress, they are a happy family eagerly awaiting their latest addition.

Even so, not everyone in the family is exactly clear on what the latest addition to their family is, as Hilaria Baldwin shared her son Leo's hilarious reaction to a snapshot taken of her recent sonogram.

While Leo understood that his mom is pregnant, he couldn't quite figure out why the sonogram image made the baby look like a "statue."
