Zoë Kravitz Pays Sweet Birthday Tribute to Dad Lenny on His 56th Birthday
Zoe Kravitz gushed about her father, Lenny Kravitz's youthfulness when she greeted him on his 56th birthday.
Zoe Kravitz shared a sweet post for her father, Lenny Kravitz to mark his 56th birthday. Apart from greeting him, she acknowledged how much she loved his youthfulness.
Zoe, whose mother is Lisa Bonet, took to her Instagram to share a hazy photo of her famous dad lounging on his couch. She referred to him as a “young man” in her caption when she wished him a happy birthday then added, “I love watching you grow.”
HER STRONG TIES TO HER FATHER
Though her parents separated when she was only 5 and Lisa grew up with her mother, Zoe was always close to her father. Her wedding to Karl Glusman in June last year was a testament to this.
In recent weeks, Zoe has been missing her parents. The COVID-19 outbreak left her stranded in London with her husband.
The wedding was held at her father’s house in Paris and Zoe delighted in the loving speeches her parents gave. While Lisa read words from her journal, Lenny left her in awe.
“He went up and gave one of the most beautiful speeches I've ever heard and I was in tears and it kind of made the night.”
WHY SHE KEPT HER LAST NAME
Zoe is proud of her parents. There was a time she thought of dropping her last name just so she could establish her career without their influence.
Her father wasn’t pleased with the idea and she realized later that she actually loved being their daughter and should be proud of it. Thus, she kept her last name.
MISSING HER FAMILY
In recent weeks, Zoe has been missing her parents. The COVID-19 outbreak left her stranded in London with her husband.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, she said the first thing she’ll do after quarantine restrictions are over is to hug her family and friends.

Zoe admitted that the pandemic has caused her to rethink her life and be grateful. She said she would never take for granted how lucky she is. Sharing the lessons she’s learned while on quarantine, the “High Fidelity” star said,
“I am lucky. So lucky. Let go. Don’t try to control anything. Be thankful for every moment and everyone in your life who you love. Ice cream always helps.”
Before we end this, we’d like to greet Lenny a very happy birthday and tell him that he was such a cute little boy in the childhood photo he posted when he thanked his fans for their birthday wishes. Stay youthful Lenny!
