JASON PRIESTLEY'S PERSONAL LIFE
On February 2, 1999, Jason Priestley bid farewell to bachelorhood as he exchanged vows with makeup artist Ashlee Peterson in a private ceremony on a boat in Miami.
Barely five months after their marriage, rumors began to spread that the couple was experiencing problems after the TV star put up their home for sale, but they denied the claims, saying they just needed more space.
Later that year, the couple quietly agreed to a trial separation, which marked the end of their marriage nearly ten months after their wedding.
In 2000, Priestley met his beautiful wife Naomi in London fortuitously while the pair waited for the red light to change at a crosswalk. At the time, Naomi had just graduated from the University with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts. While Jason was in London, the pair became inseparable, and once his job was done in England, Naomi took the bold step and moved back to New York with him.
Priestley's career involved him traveling a lot, and in a bid to stay close to her man, Naomi decided to take up a career as a makeup artist, which she could practice anywhere in the world.
Jason Priestley's wife Naomi Lowde-Priestley later enrolled at The School of Makeup Art in Toronto, and six months later, the beautiful blonde graduated top of her class.
On May 14, 2005, Jason and Naomi tied the knot in the Bahamas at a genuinely elegant event, which was attended by over 120 guests. Speaking about the wedding, the British makeup artist said:
"We wanted a ceremony that would be beautiful and honest and very true to our hearts."
Priestley's wedding also served as a reunion for his former "90210" co-stars, including Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth, and Ian Ziering, who were all present to celebrate the special day with the couple.
JASON PRIESTLEY'S FATHERHOOD JOURNEY
Jason Priestley and his wife Naomi have been married for about 15 years and share two children, Ava Veronica and Dashiell.
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Ava Veronica, in May 2005. Later in 2007, the couple announced the birth of their second child, son Dashiell. In 2019, during an interview, when asked about what his best advice would be to himself ten years ago, the actor said:
"So these last ten years have really been — the advice I would have given myself 10 years ago would be just to slow down and to enjoy every moment."
Over the years, the 50-year-old director has been very involved in raising his kids, and despite his tight working schedule Priestley still finds the time to create special moments with his beautiful wife and kids.
Jason Priestley's kids are growing up so fast, and his daughter Ava is now a teenager while her younger brother Dashiell will be eleven in a few months. The children are currently self-isolating with their parents, and Naomi has been documenting their experience as a family during this period.
