Snoop Dogg's Wife Shante Flaunts Baby Bump in Rare Throwback Photo with Husband

Shante Taylor, also known as Snoop Dogg’s boo, shares a throwback photo of herself, her husband, and her oldest son, Corde, who was still a fetus.

The proud mother who often posts photos of her family to Instagram thrilled her fans with a very dated photo of her as an expecting mum on her Insta story.

In the image, which also featured her rapper husband looking adorably at her, she is wearing a polka dot maternity shirt. In her caption, Shante revealed that she was pregnant with her oldest son when the picture was taken in 1994.

In 2018, the couple’s marriage was, however, rocked by a messy cheating scandal when socialite, Celina Powell, alleged that she had an affair with [Snoop Dogg].

Nicki Swift reports that Taylor and Snoop were high school sweethearts and wedded in 1997 based on an E! News piece.

They’ve gone on to welcome two more children, one son, and a daughter since they had Corde while they were still dating in 1994.

The baby boy who they were expecting in the photo has himself grown up and become a father. He reportedly has two children, a son, Zion, and a daughter, Elleven.

The Broadus family, however, experienced a painful loss in 2019 when Corde lost his 10-day-old grandson. Shante was quite shaken by the loss of her grandson even though Nicki Swift shares that he was her fifth grandchild.

She honored him with a video of her singing “The Love We Had Stays on My Mind” by The Dells’.

While we are very familiar with the Grandmother’s affection for family, it was the award-winning rapper’s reality show, “Snoop’s Father Hood”, which aired from 2007 till 2009, that showed the family side of him to his fans.

On the show, he admitted that many of his actions and lifestyle might make his woman feel uncertain, so he refers to her whenever he mentions “boo” in his songs.

Asides being her husband’s boo, Black Doctor reports that she is also identified as her Instagram handle, “Boss Lady.”

Shante isn’t however, the only one that earned a moniker from her partner. Their three children as reported by Your Tango also have nicknames, Corde is “Spank,” while Cordell bears “Rook”, and Cori is referred to as “Choc.”

In 2018, the couple’s marriage was, however, rocked by a messy cheating scandal when socialite, Celina Powell, alleged that she had an affair with the rapper and gave details about a drug-fueled sexual episode.

Snoop retorted by joking that he was going to start a new TV show titled, “Clout Chasers,” while Heavy reports that his wife responded to the claims with some cryptic messages on Instagram. In one post, she wrote:

“U ever watch somebody u love turn into somebody u don’t know”

They have since then recovered from the drama and will be celebrating 23 years of marriage next month.
