Craig Melvin's Daughter Wears Mom's Wedding Shoes as They Pose Together in Cute Photos

The “Today” anchor’s wife, Lindsay Czarniak, is so much fun on social media. During quarantine and while having to stay at home with the family, she finds hilarious ways to entertain herself, her fans, and her children.

Lindsay Czarniak’s posts on Instagram are generally about several jokes she comes up with, writes them down on a poster, and takes funny photos with any of her children to make them part of the fun.

They usually are totally in, though we are not sure whether they understand them.

In her recent snaps, she holds a poster that reads: “How should you greet women shoes?”

Then in the next photo, she appears with her cute little 4-year-old daughter who is wearing her wedding shoes, while she holds the other side of the poster that reads: “Hi, heels”. She captioned the post:

“My son was confused by this joke. My daughter LOVED it especially because she got to wear my wedding shoes.”

LOVELY FAMILY

Just by watching both their Instagram feeds, we can see what a lovely family newscasters Craig and Lindsay have.

It was in 2008, when she was coming back from covering the Beijing Olympics for NBC and Craig was working as an anchor at NBC4, that they both met during a commercial break. It took them a while to come out as a couple among their colleagues.

They got married in 2011 at the Church of the Holy City, in D.C. and later decided to move to Connecticut since it was a better place for both of them to commute to their jobs.

After three years, they welcomed their first child, a son named Delano -they call him Del- and just two years later, in 2016, they had a daughter, Sybil "Sibby" Ann.

The little girl was named “Sibby,” after her older brother, Del, used to call her like that before she was born. Since the parents did not know whether the baby was a boy or a girl, they called her “sibling.” Both Craig and Lindsay loved the name Del gave to the baby and kept it.

THE REPORTERS

Lindsay and Craig are successful reporters who have managed to balance their professional and personal lives, and as we can see, they have done it pretty well.

Craig used to be a Saturday morning "Today" co-host, alongside Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones, and later became a Today’s morning program weekdays anchor.

He is also a reporter and anchor on MSNBC on the 1:00 pm program and has previously worked at WRC-TV in D.C. as an NBC4 anchor.

Besides being a funny mom, Czarniak is a news reporter and anchor that specializes in sports.

She was part of the sportscaster team for NBC at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She worked with ESPN as a SportsCenter anchor from 2011 to 2017, and before that, she spent six years working with WRC-TV.

After ESPN, she joined the professional team during the Daytona 500, and in 2018 she became part of the CNN network’s sports team.

Her current independent project is a podcast called “Players”, in which she holds interviews with outstanding sports players.
