A loving daughter, Bindi honored her parents in a very meaningful way. She posted on Instagram an old photo of Steve and Terri on the field with a baby kangaroo.

"There are no words to describe how I love you both. Thank you for teaching me and Robert the meaning of unconditional love," Bindi said.

PASSION FOR WILDLIFE

More than a decade after Steve's tragic death, Terri recalled wonderful memories of her husband. She also reminisced about the first day they met in 1991, as reported by People.

She met Steve at a reptile park in Australia, where he worked as a zookeeper. Sparks flew right away. Having the same passion for wildlife, they instantly clicked.

At that moment, Terri thought about whether or not Steve was already married. But she was introduced instead to his "girlfriend," Sue, which happened to be his dog. The moment made her laugh.

HARD TO GET

Steve, Terri said, played hard to get when they met. Before flying back to the United States, the crocodile hunter told her to keep in touch.

She left Australia and went back to her home in Oregon. For several weeks, Terri has not received any calls from him and wondered whether their bond has no meaning.

If Steve were alive, he would have been the happiest father witnessing his daughter Bindi's wedding day.

LOVE IS FOREVER

Terri thought she might have misunderstood the connection she had with Steve. After a month, Steve called and went to Oregon to see her.

Within their 27 years of marriage, Terri's love for Steve remained the same. She once uploaded an old photo of them together in Queensland, as reported by the Daily Mail.

On the photo, Terri can be seen perched on the rock, hugging Steve from behind. Steve, meanwhile, leaned his head sideways on a loving gesture.

In the caption, she wrote about the moment Steve asked her to marry him at Australia Zoo. "Life is constantly changing. Love is forever," Terri wrote.

If Steve were alive, he would have been the happiest father witnessing his daughter Bindi's wedding day. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, Bindi tied the knot with Chandler Powell in an intimate ceremony in Australia Zoo.
