Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans were married in 2017. Apart from their successful career, so far, their marriage is thriving as well.

As reported by Wide Open Country, the talented couple initially met in 2016. That happened when they co-hosted Australia's Country Music Channel Awards at the time.

Kelsea and Morgan partied together later that night and the after-party. And then their sweet love story began.

"He was like, 'Let's take a shot,'" Kelsea said in an interview. "I remember taking that shot and putting it down and looking at him like, 'Oh...he's super hot.'"

Soon after that, Morgan leaned over and asked Kelsea if he could kiss her, and the "Love Me Like You Mean It" singer immediately said yes.

Morgan knelt to one knee and popped the question to Kelsea less than a year later. She then took to social media to announce their engagement. In her post, Kelsea proudly showed off her engagement ring.

In an interview, Morgan revealed that he had the ring custom made, especially for Kelsea. "I had the ring custom made with a diamond I picked from a local designer here in Nashville," he said. "I wanted it to be classic and beautiful, like her."

On December 2, 2017, Kelsea and Morgan got married in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as reported by PEOPLE. Alongside their 100 guests, the newlyweds toasted with a tequila shot.

Kelsea went to Nashville-based planner Jayne Bubis Events to plan their big day.

Kelsea stunned in a flowing gown while walking down the aisle at the Esperanza luxury resort. Meanwhile, Morgan sported tan suits.

The bride and the groom never took their eyes off each other at the altar. They exchanged personalized rings after professing their love.

According to the publication, Kelsea went to Nashville-based planner Jayne Bubis Events to plan their big day. She said that they're not "wedding people" and that it's more being married that they're stoked about.

Meanwhile, as much as she wanted to do live shows, Kelsea couldn't do as such right now because of the COVID-19 pandemic. She appeared to be holding back her tears, yet the singer said she needed to prioritize people's well-being.

Kelsea was also heartbroken after residents in Nashville, Tennessee, lost their homes brought by a tornado. She was one of the famous personalities who took to social media to ask for help for the affected people.
