Days after he got slammed for his opinion on racism and white supremacy, Terry Crews has returned to Twitter.

When "Everybody Hates Chris" star, Terry Crews, took to Twitter on June 8 to state that fighting against white supremacy without the help of white people will lead to Black superiority, he didn't expect the backlash he got.

Madame Noire reported that not only did fans drag him, but his former "Everybody Hates Chris" co-star, Tyler James Williams, also called him out.

Following the end of his football career, Terry reportedly fell into depression and suffered an addiction to pornography.

The slam did nothing to change Terry's previous tweet, as he explained to Tyler that if both Black and White people don't work together, "bad attitudes and resentments can create a dangerous self-righteousness."

Even when the political activist, Kevin Powell, addressed the actor's tweet by stating that Terry was attempting to hint that Black people hurt whites, the actor simply wrote "That's not what I'm saying Kevin. At all."

ET Online noted that the "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star then went on to address his June 8 tweet by claiming that it came from a "spirit of love and reconciliation," for the Black community and the world.

The "America's Got Talent" judge also added that people needed to avoid following the herd mentality as it was more useful to ask "difficult questions to one another."

Terry had previously told his Twitter followers that any Black person who called him "a coon" for promoting equality, is a "Black Supremist" as they have decided "who's Black and who is not."

Amid all the drama, Yahoo! reported that the actor believes that the events that have unfolded since the death of George Floyd would make its way to the storyline of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

According to Good Housekeeping, the Twitter backlash is just one of the many challenges that the former football player will overcome in his life.

Following the end of his football career, Terry reportedly fell into depression and suffered an addiction to pornography.

His marriage to Rebecca King-Crews was also in trouble as his wife didn't know about her husband's porn addiction from the onset. When she eventually found out, she left him - and only went back to the actor after he showed a desire to change.

Even with that, it took her about three years to trust him and not give in to her initial instincts to leave him - an occurrence that Terry has remained thankful for.
